Engraving the number 4

I am attempting to engrave the number 4 into my material. When I run the preview in Vcarve the number isn't finished. The diagonal line of the 4 is missing. I have tried different fonts and text size but it just doesn't seem to make a difference. Help!!

This is indeed strange. There is a Vetric forum that is very good. You can contact Vetric directly as well. I have had small anomalies with Vcarve but nothing like this. Have you tried different methods? I find that I'll try to do something one way and it will give me fits, approach it from another direction and everything goes smooth.

Also I'd be happy to take a look at your .crv file and see if I can figure it out. I'm always curious when something weird happens in vCarve!
