V Carve Pro 9
July 20, 2017 06:23AM
Have owned my Handibot for less than 1 year.
Am I entitled to a free upgrade of the Vectric software?
If so, how do I go about claiming it?
I am also interested in finding out what cost, etc., is involved in upgrading to Aspire 9.

OK--I've got the details on this from Sales...
If your license for VCarve is less than a year old when the new version is released, then vectric will provide an upgrade at no charge.
If your license is older than 1 year, then there is a $150 upgrade charge.

To upgrade to Aspire will cost $1300 from a current version of VCarve and $1400 from an older version of VCarve (current being the latest release and older being everything else).

Make sense?

If we're within the year, do we need to contact Vectric for the upgrade or will it get pushed to us?

Hello Warren.

Many thanks for your inquiry.

I'm afraid that all Shopbot versions of the software are actually supplied and managed by Shopbot themselves.
Customer with only the Shopbot version of the software do not have account on the customer portal and need to contact shopbot for upgrade options.

If you wish to upgrade, please contact Frank at ShopBot Tools (frank@shopbottools.com ).
He will be able to arrange the upgrade for you.

I hope that this helps, but if you have any further questions, please let me know.

Best Regards
Charlotte

I am a licenced user of V Carve Pro 8.5 ShopBot Edition since Nov 2016,
but when I try to enter your V&Co portal you people have no record of
me. Then when I attempt to open an account, the link fails. I am trying
to obtain my upgrade to v9, but getting frustrated by this nonsense.
What should I do?
Please advise,
