Tiling question

Does anyone know if there is a way to force Vcarve to run through the tiles with one tool and then come back around with another instead of running each tool for a tile and then moving to the next?

thanx

I think you'll need to make two cutting files to do that...

You could make a script that calls each tile one after another. Have you seen the script I have been using that calls one file after another when doing tiling?

[github.com]

That could be modded to work the way that you want pretty easily.

Yes, sometimes the solution is so easy that it eludes me, a cut file for each bit will work like a champ. Thanx

No problem, I've done that before. It's actually really easy to manage in VCarve too, you just check off the toolpaths you want to save out...

It it's something you want to cut over and over, you can write a simple script to call each file in order, and you can even have a nice little prompt to remind you what tool to put in.
