“ If there is interest right now we would also be happy to provide a full pi image with the docker container already loaded init.” Thanks for the offer. Please provide a link to get this pi image w/docker to try it as it will greatly speed the learning curve.by mvsepulve - Handibot Forum
Hope everyone is doing fine during the pandemic. I’m successfully installed the Raspberry pi image downloaded from Google Drive to a RP 3 and was able to enter the engine's Web page; everything seems to be working fine. I kindly request the username and password to access the Fabmo Raspberry Pi via SSH. Thanks in advanceby mvsepulve - Handibot Forum
Hi! Can you provide the Schematics for the V303 controller in the same format as the ones in this link: Thanks in advance.by mvsepulve - Handibot Forum
Hi! Reviewing this post of more than 4 year ago, I found that ShopBot shared the Control Card Schematics for the then available Control Card. I have not been able to find updated schematics for the actual Control cards. I kindly request if it’s possible that you now share the Control Card Schematics for the Shopbot Tools Controller V303. Thanks in advance! David @ Shopbot Tools Wrote: ---by mvsepulve - Handibot Forum
Thanks for sharing Shopbot plans and your reflections. I think the Handibot Community of users should be a useful way to test concepts to be tryied in a more fail tolerant environment than the Industrial one. I think there are terrific contributors in this community and I’m sure Shopbot can get benefits form the insights, questions, requirements and developments of Handibot users. Thanks for the thorough response Brian. It’s good to know that the FabMO SW is continually being developed, even at the cost of some mistakes that may cause some upsets. I appreciate your response and availability to inform the community. For me there is no way back though, so I will wait for the 1.7.0 release to try the “ON INPUT” command. Brian, Thanks for providing more background to understand the macro programming tricks for the Handibot. I’m curious about your last statement: “until the PB command is available.” I have been trying to understand how the macros are programmed and the OpenSBP Command language and in macro_2.sbp for the Handibot2 platform, I found a “PZ “ command (PZ, &reapproach, &ZZeroSearchSpeedSlow,by mvsepulve - Handibot Forum
Brian, I reviewed the code and noticed that the second line is commented: ' IF %(51) = 1 THEN GOTO Already_Triggered ' *not working yet ... Wondering about why this is not working, I compared this code to macro_2.sbp code for the Handibot2 and noticed a different form to check the status of input #1. My question is if there is any special reason not to use it in the code yby mvsepulve - Handibot Forum
Quick Bit on Handibot V.1 The Quick Bit Pressure sensitive Z Zero Plate User Manual describes the installation of the QB in a Handibot Adventure. In pictures 11 shows the input connections on the interface board and in number 12 tells to connect QB black wire to GND and red wire to IP5. I have a Handibot V.1 with an different interface board. The inputs on my interface board are labeled GND, Iby mvsepulve - Handibot Forum
Hi Brian! Thanks for this site; sometimes it gets difficult to find information for Handibot/FabMo. The Tablet Holder is very well decumented so anyone can give it a try. I would love to have something like this for the Quick Bit Accesory. Are you considering to put something like this in a foreseeable future? Best regards, Miguelby mvsepulve - Handibot Forum
Ryan, I was finally able to test again the Ethernet connection to a (non Openwrt) router and I can confirm that everything works perfectly. So if you are experiencing WiFi problems the Ethernet connectivity is an excelent alternative.by mvsepulve - Handibot Forum
Ryan, Thanks for your response. I don’t have access to my Handibot now and I will not be able to run any test for the next month or so. As soon as I can I will check again and look for what you suggest; I do have an Openwrt type of router so the problem may indeed be related to the router. I will let you know my findings. Hi Brian, Please confirm if the ELB corresponds to the ADVENTURE EDITION TO LARGE SHEET TOOL UPGRADE KIT already in the store? Thanks in advanceby mvsepulve - Handibot Forum
I have en early version of FabMo-Edison (#30), up-dated to version 1.6.0. I can connect via AP both to the Updater and the Dashboard. I can also connect via Ethernet with the Satechi USB/Ethernet device. I can connect to the FabMo Edison via ssh and also to the Updater via the port 81. So far so good, but when I try to connect to the engine either directly by doing [192.168.10.102] (the addrby mvsepulve - Handibot Forum
