A couple of quick observations / ideas: 1) Under Fabmo > Configuration > General, there's a configurable Offset and Rotation that could surely be used for small values. In practice, a user could output grid of 5x7" tiles instead of 6x8", then if they can maneuver to within +/-1/2" of the target, Handicam can communicate the correct offsets to Fabmo. 2) Looking at tby _Kyle - Handibot Forum
Thanks guys. Brian, wow, both the Fabmo changes and roller base could really make this viable. Is there anywhere I can learn more (or help?)? I'll call out that while I've done most of my iteration using a Linux laptop with a USB camera, the ideal end state for Handicam is that it runs on a phone or tablet. Thanks for the quick response. Just moved the hose further into the shoe and tried a weaker shop vac I happen to have. Things ran longer, but I got a clog late in the job. Looking at it, I think this material is the real problem. I have an image, but file attachments seem to be broken. The clog is made up of a lot of long, stringy bits.by _Kyle - Handibot Forum
Hi all, Just received a new Adventure Edition and I'm trying my first cuts. I'm experiencing some dust collection problems and I wonder if anyone has experience that may help. I have a small shop vac connected directly to the vacuum port. I'm doing 3d cuts over the whole cut area and producing a lot of dust.
