Any chance of getting files or at least more photos of the jig on the gravity table? It looks to me to be the epitome of useful. 2) I'd love to see one or two of these jigs done up really well as as idiot proof of a instruction package as possible. you Know a nice verbose step by step PDF file with the cut files in the same zip. Thanxby Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Okay, fails under windows 8.1 and chrome and Firefox, lets try under windows 7 and chrome..... test well the freezing thing appears to be windows 8.1 only,, the other problem I have had is I will be auto logged out in the middle of things and loose work, I think your time is set too short?by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
After having this forum lockup chrome and fire fox on me every time I click to insert a link I have opened a group over on G+. Not trying to take anything away from here as we have company people show up here but if you are a G+ user stop over and join the group, it is simply called handibot owners. thanx Mby Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
I did the jigsaw blocks in salvaged wood and everything came out to dead on in x and withing a 32nd in y. I am looking fwd to building more and better jigs as I am convinced jigs are the key to making the handibot supper useful.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Bill: thanx for the models, the Guage blocks is the same Idea I had but better as you have added the interlock. You did these in SketchUp, is there a way to convert them to Vcarve or do I need to take the ideas and start from scratch? thanx! Never mind, I found the other post!by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
David: Great to get conformation on what hoped was going on! It might be good to bounce early stuff off us to see what makes sense to the end user and what does not. I have watched the vetric videos, they are good, just not Handybot specific, if you took them literally you'd cut out a bunch of 6x8 tiles and then connect them! We know you guys have moving the Handybot pretty well worked ouby Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
David: while I do have a flair for the dramatic, I did run across several cautions on the main shopbot site saying feeds where estimates. That said, so far I have found that in woods anyway close is good enough.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
David, that is exactly what I am doing! Like lowering a hoist, as I get closer I drop the value of the "fixed" lower and lower till I'm moving about .0025 a bump.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Dave, sure wish we'd get some staff help in here! Anyway, from everything I've been able to find all feeds and speeds are SWAG, that is scientific wild ass guess and will have to be adjusted as necessary. Mby Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
The manual tells us to push the Z down till you have the proper drag on a piece of card stock. I have had poor luck that way and have figured out that you can jog the Z down in ever smaller increments till you get that drag, also, it needs to really drag, just short of lifting, otherwise you will be under cutting by several thousandths. Just my observation, as always your mileage may vary..by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Starting this as what will become a thread for things we need to see from the guys at shopbot. I know it must be being worked on but I desperately need a handibot specific tutorial on tiling the work. 6"x8" is an awfully small area to be tied to.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
After about 36 hours of it being here I have to agree, this thing rocks.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
1)no idea, want to know myself. 2)I think it is a stock router, the cotlet would be ordered from precision?by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Software arrived yesterday, means wheels are turning! No tutorial so I have no idea how the parts interact but at least I can be getting up to speed with vcarve.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
