For mum the suggestions are something that could take a gcode or stl file and even using a usb stick to instruct the step motors. I turned mums terminology there in to a bit of techno speak!. Hi Mark, Thanks for the heads up. Looks interesting but still think (for Mini) its too high priced and the Mac OS is a downer as you suggested. At school they talk Microsoft and STL but the OS and format not ideal. Wondering what else could be considered that would pehaps just wood/fiber cut to a max 1/8"?. Its pretty clear that Dad will find one of these extremely useful and congratulations to Handibot for initiating 'Change'. What will be coming is "Dad I want a Mini Version" so preparing for that ;-) Actually its an interesting scenario.
