I did not, click the link above and pull them straight from my Evernote please.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
no, the cam and the wedge you made for your dewalt feed through table. Not a problem if you don't, probably a good exercise to do them myself.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Eric: do you have Vcarve files for the wedge and cam? I want to add most of the stuff to the beta that will end up on 1.0 to figure out what works and what does not.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Worked with these a fair bit today. I think my use instrutions are pretty good but in the file the left was a bit crouded for zeroing so I have widened the left and the left side of the leftlower jig. Eric is working on getting this into the GitHub but for now the updated file is here: jig fileby Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Okay, worked today, long press really is looong press. ><by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
You are correct at this point in time, windows only. Sounds like Android and iOS is still a ways off. The good news is windows tablets have come way down in the last few months.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
double ought, couldn't agree more, I am loving the hb but if I was doing a large project and some of the tiles had nothing but straight lines in them I'd skip that tile and connect the lines with my panel saw and a straight edge. 0,0 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > This is interesting. Okay I stand corrected, I was thinking of with the stock flat. Can't think of much in wood that it won't do with the right jig!by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Very nicely done! Answers a lot of questions. Now if I can just get my grubby hands on the jig.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Eric, Double check that "watch it here" link please..by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Lol, quite familiar with the red, it is the one you slam as the bit dives way too deep!by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Thanx Eric, apparently I have not loooong pressed it. I will try again next session.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
When is the green button active? I have never found it to be so and always have to click on the laptop. It would be great if it could be made to always answer to the affirmative on dialog boxes. mby Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
I like but everyone's needs are different, I think this would be a great candidate for an app down the road. Enter some basic parameters and the app could do the heavy lifting....by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Eric: By all means! I'd be honored if you'd put them on GitHub. Also fell free to improve them and/or the instructions. All I will ask is for you to give proper accreditation. Spencer : The hb won't do "traditional" dovetails as they involve sharp corners that can not be achieved BUT, you can do a rounded dovetail and a lot of other joints that in my opinion look better. Like everything, you have to know your tools and work with the Strong side... Okay, while we are waiting on the large area jigs I have developed some limited duty jigs for sheet that is already cut to size. So, you have cut a piece to size with a table or panel saw but now you need to radius the corners or make some cuts along the edge, this will do it with out the large area jigs. It would be able to do cuts farther into the sheet than the first tile and we willby Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Thanx so much for these Bill, the spacers are on the way and I picked up a small sampling of the bolts from lowes (stupid expensive) as well as a few T-nuts, I'll get an order up with Stafast when I figure out what sizes I need the most of. I noticed that the handibot is assembled with these and a threaded insert. Is this insert available from Stafast as well?by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Congratulations to the handibot crew on the store going live, I see this as good step toward this being a viable ecosystem. I'll be giddy for you and myself when we see the jigs become available and when we see the first apps.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Bill, between you and Eric this forum is a real asset to me a first time CNCer. Really appreciate the additional photos, I will probably incorporate all of that into my beta 0.2. Actually beta 0.1 is going to be a big help building the additional parts to do the up grade. That is why getting ANY jig going is so important. Any part numbers and/or sources for those parts would be a great hby Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Okay, got my beta feed through table working, stupid simple but it works like a champ! No drawings or files as I eyeballed it all the way with a tape measure and a square. Just needing to add better hold downs, she will cut unlimited length and the first 8 inches of any width. If I could figure out how to flip tiles I would be able to cut to 16 inches on it. photosby Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Eric: all your suggestions where spot on! I have lowered the jog speed and lower the Z before trying to zero the Y and got some great cuts today. My stupid simple feed though table is working great, I will post some photos if I can get that working here. thanx!by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Thanx Eric, I thought I had it all worked out but now the Y limit sw in gone again, not sure if it needs replaced or just shimmed up. I can work around that but the Z is binding now, and sometimes fails to move the full distance on a fast command ruining work. So, I will probably need that contact... No drawings for the pass though jig, I have eyeballed it all, Have it done with the exceptioby Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Had an interesting handibot weekend. Went out to the shed with plans to build a pass through jig for it and right off the Y axis limit sw wasn't working, go to trouble shoot that and in the process noticed that the Z axis plate was bad loose on the slide, after looking and looking and cutting down an L Allen to try and avoid disassembly I capitulated and took it apart. Pretty well have to stby Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
guessing HDPE, not cheap, at all, if a good plywood would work for the app it would be several orders of magnitude less expensive....by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Yes indeed, this thread makes me giddy, I have played with my bot but nothing real useful yet mostly do too size constraints. This jig and one mounted to my miter saw stand for dimensional lumber will turn the bot into a real work horse!by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
IF they are still handling it like they did with us first batches you should have received a separate package with a jump drive. and no this is proprietary software you will not be able to download all of what you need. Although, you may be able to get the intro version of VCarve working downloaded direct from Vetric.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
Bill, thanx and yes I concur, I used the wrong word, VCarve files would be better. I have a Sears miter saw table and I'm sure any small mods would be easy enough. I have very little shop space so it acts mostly as a tool crib and I work mostly under a porch out the shops door.by Mark Evans - Handibot Forum
